Myakka River trip.

Wow, we found this little park on our way from Palm Beach to Tampa!  Its these types of hidden jewels all around the USA that i'm most excited about.  We spent about 2 hours and managed to find an armodillo wandering around and a box turtle.  The kids had fun with both of the new found animals and they wanted to keep them!  We enjoyed seeing them and let them go along their way.

  1. Good morning. Popped over from Open Roads RV Forum. First off saw your wife and Norman on GMA a couple, more than that now, weeks ago. He is hilarious.

Would love to hear about Karen's jaunts and what she thinks of different TV show appearances. I have been on Oprah & Sally Jesse Raphael as well as a few others and the experiences were vastly different.

I do have a question for you...why do you say you put your life on hold? I don't picture ya'll being on hold (waiting) but stepping out in faith and going down a different path. Just my thoughts no intention to offend.

Looking forward to following along with ya'll.

  3. Hey, I came across your blog via rv.net. We are in the process of doing the samething with two daughters under the age of 10. We are from GA and purchased our MH in 2009 and hopefully will be on the road fulltime this summer.

I was particularly impressed with your deflection of the criticism some hurled at you. Many people in our society are offended by one's desire to be with their family.

We homeschool and have for the past two years, we get negative comments often and are amazed at what people actually know about a topic before they spew their opinions.

I am happy for your family and will keep you in my prayers that you have a safe and fruitful journey..........

    Rod
